Anti-Social Behaviour Update - Tutbury and Rolleston

We would like to make residents aware that Staffordshire Police have received numerous reports of anti-social behaviour involving groups of young people gathering within Tutbury Mews, Tutbury, and Brook Hollows Park, Rolleston-on-Dove.

Officers are actively investigating these incidents and have obtained CCTV footage of individuals believed to be involved. Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible so that appropriate action can be taken, including engagement with both the young people and their parents or guardians. Our aim is to prevent further incidents and address concerns raised by the local community.

We would also like to remind parents and young people of powers available to police under Section 50 of the Police Reform Act 2002. This legislation allows a constable to require a person to provide their name and address if the officer reasonably believes that person has been acting, or has acted, in an anti-social manner.

Failure to provide a name and address when required, or providing false or inaccurate details, is an offence and may result in further police action.

We ask parents to speak with their children about their behaviour when out in the community and to be aware of where they are spending their time. By working together, we can help keep Tutbury and Rolleston safe and enjoyable places for everyone.
